My License Was Just Revoked, and a Snake Bites the Troublemaking Villain

Xie Nanxing is a gifted Western-trained doctor, but when he threatens his department chief's profits, he's framed and loses his medical license. His gold-digging girlfriend dumps him on the spot, leaving him no choice but to return to his village and inherit its rundown traditional medicine clinic.

On opening day, a health bureau section chief, acting on someone else's orders, swaggeringly arrives with a closure notice. "Unlicensed quack! This clinic is shut down for good!"

As soon as he finishes speaking, a venomous snake known as the Seven-Step Killer drops from above and sinks its fangs into his neck. The section chief foams at the mouth on the spot.

At the same time, a voice rings out in Xie Nanxing's mind:

The Great Physician's Benevolence System has been activated!

Treat the dying patient before you to unlock the lost art of the Thirteen Ghost Gate Needles!

Watching the section chief writhe on the ground, groaning and begging for help, Xie Nanxing sneers. "You just revoked my license. Practicing medicine without one could land me in prison, so you'd better wait for the ambulance coming in two hours!"

From then on, Qingzhu Village has a country doctor with a peculiar set of rules.

Rheumatism, hemiplegia, rare cold toxins, and terminal illnesses that even Western doctors can't treat are all cured with a few silver needles and a handful of ancient remedies! Foreign pharmaceutical giants are toppled by the rare medicinal herbs he grows!

Later, the department chief, stricken with a terminal illness, kneels and kowtows with ten million in medical fees, while Xie Nanxing's ex-girlfriend weeps and begs him to take her back.

Xie Nanxing merely points to the sign outside the door. "The consultation fee is one hundred million. Enemies and dogs are not welcome!"
