Breaking News! I Was Finding a Top-Tier Star's First Love, But He Fell for Me

[Modern romance + older woman/younger man + bickering couple + love grows over time + female-centered + six-year age gap + lighthearted comedy + a touch of mystery]

[Tough, thrifty older sister × proud, forthright younger man]

Blurb:

What do you do when you roast a top-tier star and he overhears you?

What if the star you roasted not only heard you, but also became your client?

With one offhand comment about a top-tier star’s new drama, office worker Ye Lanxing never expected to fall out with Mu Lianchen, who had been invited to sponsor her alma mater’s anniversary celebration.

Her first anniversary-event bidding project was now hanging by a thread.

With no other choice, she kept showing up at his door to apologize, determined to win back Mu Lianchen’s goodwill.

Until he gritted his teeth and said, “Don’t ever show your face in front of me again!”

Out of options, she went to great lengths to track down his rumored high-school sweetheart, who had supposedly disappeared in her final year. She happily thought she had it in the bag!

But the man who’d told her not to show up again started turning up at her door instead.

Ye Lanxing: “You’ve found your first love again. Don’t come after me.”

Mu Lianchen nipped her earlobe and chuckled.

“I’ve been single my whole life. Who said she was my first love?”

She didn’t know that long before she recognized him, a fleeting glance across a bar’s dance floor and the moment they grabbed the wrong hands had already made him remember her.

Note: Neither lead is perfect. They’re both written to grow and change as the story unfolds. They start out as a bickering couple, then fall in love and grow sweeter. Please give them time to grow and fall for each other. Thank you~
