Superdad: I Slack Off While Parenting on Livestream, and the Whole Internet Loses It

Jiang Ling, a web novelist who transmigrated to a parallel world, was short on money, so he accepted a parenting livestream reality show with a million-yuan paycheck.

The dad raises the child alone throughout the show, while the mom stays completely out of sight.

Under the scrutiny of online experts and viewers, he’s compared to the helicopter dad next door, who pushes his child to excel at everything and keeps every step tightly controlled.

Jiang Ling completely lets go and does things his own way.

He gets up whenever he feels like it, handles drop-offs and pickups at the last minute, doesn’t force homework, and doesn’t push extracurriculars. His approach is all about taking it easy and letting things slide.

It turns out the laid-back parenting style of the post-90s generation is exactly the cure modern kids need most.
