In 621 AD, five college students transmigrate to a deserted village after being swept away by a flash flood. Amid the ruins, the finance student reads people’s hearts, the architecture student builds earthen walls, the agriculture student grows wheat, the medical student saves the dying, and the computer science student sets traps. Starting with a well, a seed, and a wall, they build a city over seven years and transform themselves from survivors merely trying to stay alive into leaders who defend their land and establish a dynasty. This is a story about building: planting hope amid the ruins and keeping people’s hearts steady in troubled times.
