I’m Poor and Stingy, and the System Wants Me to Help the Poor?

(Timid, simple village girl vs. crown prince raised among the common people)

In her previous life, Ma Dongmei was a factory girl working on an assembly line. Reincarnated into the body of a six-year-old village girl, she spent the next ten years living a timid, miserable life.

Then she was suddenly bound to a forced poverty-alleviation System. She had nothing, yet was expected to help the poor. Even the single copper coin the System gave her had to be spent on someone in need.

Gritting her teeth, Ma Dongmei worked her way through the System's missions, transforming from a timid village girl into a decisive, formidable female minister!

When Zhou Mancang saw Ma Dongmei being bullied, he stepped in to help her time and again. It was because she had saved him when they were children, and he wanted to help her reclaim the property her clansmen had taken from her. But then he discovered she didn't need his help at all.

Zhou Mancang was the crown prince, whom the emperor had raised among the common people. The old emperor was under the thumb of powerful ministers, making it extremely difficult and dangerous for the crown prince to return to the palace.

Zhou Mancang had hoped to protect Ma Dongmei, but instead, she ended up protecting him.

Ma Dongmei nearly fainted in shock.

The final mission from the poverty-alleviation System was to help the crown prince, who had fallen among the common people, return to the palace and take the throne!

One of the people she was supposed to help was a crown prince? Who could make sense of this world!
