Don't Let a Joker Save the World

When the whole world is falling apart, only I remain as calm as a Buddha.

On the first day, I lost the right to be a man.

On the second day, the gods told me, “You will face endless fear and despair.”

I patted my empty crotch and smiled.

Fear? Despair? Could anything be more intense than what happened to me this morning?

In the instance, my teammates were screaming and crying. I sat nearby, cracking sunflower seeds. “That’s it?”

The gods unleashed mental corruption, driving everyone mad. I pulled out Five Years of College Entrance Exams, Three Years of Mock Tests. “Why not do a problem and calm down?”

Later, the gods finally couldn’t take it anymore and asked me, “What are you so happy about?”

I replied, “When a man has nothing left to lose, he’s the happiest person in the world.”

Gods: “...I regret choosing you.”
