Black Rain Falls: I Become Invincible by Rewinding After Death

[Black rain, Cthulhu, not social Darwinist, team growth, ensemble cast, post-apocalyptic survival, supernatural abilities] Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the sky began raining black, and every drop of water that touched your skin started a countdown? Have you ever wondered if, during the days it takes for a city to sink inch by inch into the abyss, someone might use death itself as a weapon? The black rain falls. Those whose skin it touches either lose the ability to speak or hatch monsters. The water rises by the day. Civilization collapses. The countdown for this world has begun. Black leeches, crawling mutants, faceless sharks, hunters... Every time he dies, he learns another layer of the truth. Every time he dies, his soul draws a little closer to utter collapse. He doesn’t know how many chances he has left. A diving suit. A speargun. In a drowned city of ruins, he’ll use his limited deaths to fight his way through the abyss of the apocalypse.
