A coming-of-age story, not a System story. Mythology + career advancement + political intrigue + lighthearted humor.
Jiang Fan was born in China and became a god after death.
Because he was a mortal who had been deified, he was selected for the Celestial Court's training program for law-enforcement deities, under the codename Heaven's Patrol.
After completing two years of training, Jiang Fan graduated at the top of his class and received a Heaven's Patrol Token.
The Celestial Court used the core members trained through the Heaven's Patrol program to establish the Censorate, which oversaw the Three Realms.
Jiang Fan and a handful of other elite candidates, however, embarked on a different path of selection.
Follow Jiang Fan as he starts out as a grassroots deity and climbs all the way to the pinnacle of power in the Celestial Court.
