Survive for Ten Days to Become a Homelander

System Announcement: “Humans, one of you will become the God of Earth ten days from now. Your coordinates have been shared. Kill the chosen one, and you can inherit this opportunity.” I got marked. The whole world could see where I was. On the first day, I became three times stronger. On the second, my wounds healed on their own. On the third, I shot flames from my eyes. Those hunting me went from neighbors to nations, and from ordinary people to things that weren’t even human. The Dragon Kingdom said it would protect me. America tried to assassinate me. The Sakura Kingdom took the blame, while five inhuman things in an underground warehouse worked out when I might let my guard down. In the middle of the night on the fourth day, the System suddenly spoke to me for the first time. “Someone is watching you. From very far away.” I stared at those words for a long time. Three days ago, I was just an e-commerce operator who’d been laid off, worrying about next month’s rent. Now I was hiding in a fifteen-square-meter safe house, with the whole world trying to kill me. But I wasn’t planning to die. Ten days. Every day I survive brings me one step closer to the answer, even though I still don’t know what the answer is.
