Divine Duty: Starting as a Little Land God

[Divine Path + Ruthless Combat + Incense and Worship]

Three-year-old Lu An bears a divine mandate and serves as the local land god.

By day, he handles the villagers’ everyday affairs and receives their offerings.

When night falls, he slays demons and drives out evil, keeping Lu Family Village safe and peaceful.

With no System to aid him, he has only the insights into the Great Dao that he gained in a previous life. He draws divine power from the offerings and comprehends the rules of heaven and earth.

He devotes himself to accumulating merit and earning a promotion in the divine ranks, hoping to escape the year-round duties of a land god as soon as possible. But as he goes about his work, he repeatedly gets on the wrong side of a wily fox demon and a stingy river god, and must also contend with the inscrutable City God of Tianming City.

The divine path is just like the officialdom: the gods scheme against one another, tangled in old grievances and grudges.

Invest the gods with authority, suppress demons, and sweep away evil. This little land god will one day hold the world in the palm of his hand!
