In the Great Yong Dynasty, there are no innate celestial beings or native underworld, only departed souls drifting through the gap between Yin and Yang. The four paths of martial arts, Yin-walking, Confucianism, and Zen martial arts coexist. Xiao Jin, the illegitimate son of the Prince of Yong'an, unexpectedly awakens the authority of the Ziwei Star Lord, taking charge of the world's fortune and peace. With the whole clan lending its support, he meets Su Ling Shuang, the Pojun Star Lord, and joins forces with her to fight treacherous consorts and ministers, evil martial Venerables, and separatist Yin Lords. He ascends the three realms of the Star Lords, harnesses the power of the Purple Palace stars to bring peace to all, and ultimately transcends the limits of star martial arts.
