[A Blood River Tale fanfic, lots of original worldbuilding, apologies for OOC, Muchang, Zhuo Yue'an x Su Changhe]
Su Changhe was minding his own business in the Dark River when he suddenly received a contract to assassinate someone: Zhuo Yue'an, the young master of Wujian City, who had become a Sword Immortal at just eighteen. He was supposed to go alone. Su Changhe wondered if he had offended someone. This was practically a suicide mission.
Then he discovered that Zhuo Yue'an himself had placed the contract. Zhuo Yue'an said he had lured him there just because he wanted to be friends, and even wanted to tell him stories.
Su Changhe thought the young master of Wujian City seemed a little crazy.
So he decided to pretend to befriend him. He wanted to see what the other man was really up to.
But the longer he kept up the act, the more it seemed he was fooling himself, too. Just as Su Changhe decided to give him his sincere affection, he realized something wasn't quite right.
Zhuo Yue'an wasn't crazy. Everything he had said was true, and the “Su Changhe” in his stories really existed.
...Then what did that make him?
Wujian City was never destroyed, and Zhuo Yue'an grew up safe and sound. He had always thought his sword was his very best friend.
Then an accident sent him to another time and place. There, he saw another version of his life, and met the version of himself whose city had fallen and who had ended up in the Dark River.
That version of him was called Su Muyu, and he also had a close friend named Su Changhe.
Well, actually, they weren't close friends. Su Changhe was Su Muyu's newlywed spouse… even though he was a man.
Those three months left Zhuo Yue'an curious about Su Changhe.
...Zhuo Yue'an swore he really did mean to be friends at first, but... Su Muyu had him, so why couldn't he?
I will follow Star Chain to the death. The two Mu Chang articles touched my heart directly. The sour secret love between Yue An and Chang He, the tolerable paranoia, the sweet love and the inadvertently super cute interactions in daily life. And the theme of the story is not monotonous like other articles. This one is really interesting. The interaction between the people in the dark river completely reproduces the scene when I get along with my friends. Even if something goes wrong, we share weal and woe, and the group image is awesome. The character creation is also perfect, not OOC! Wow, this book is really well written. I only read fanfics on Lao Ford before, but I didn't expect Tomato to have such a treasure in the ocean~ It's rare not to be OOC, and you can have both love and career. What I like about Chang He is exactly the same as Zhuo Yue'an. He is confident and cute. The author is so awesome! It's not over yet, I'm a little reluctant to tie it up.
