With zombies and mutants everywhere, other people awaken supernatural abilities, kill zombies, build bases, and become bosses.
Lu Xun awakens an ability: Copy.
Everyone says he’s the most useless dead weight in the apocalypse.
Lu Xun: "Oh."
Then he copies a lightning ability and takes down the Zombie King.
He copies a spatial ability and empties an armory.
He copies a healing ability, pulls himself back from the brink of death, and even manages to infuriate the enemy general he just rescued from a near-fatal beating.
Survivors all over the world are spreading the word: don’t mess with the guy who can copy abilities. He can copy yours, then use it to grind you into the dirt.
Then one day, a zombie horde surrounds the city. Lu Xun stands atop the wall with one hand in his pocket and curls a finger at the endless sea of zombies below.
"Come on, let me show you what copy and paste looks like."
The whole city looks up as he copies twelve abilities and blows the horde to pieces like he’s cheating.
Behind him, Jiang Lian quietly abandons his original plan to save people and laughs under his breath. "Fine. You can walk all over everyone, and I’ll do it right alongside you."
One cheat who can copy the whole world, and one man who only ever clings to him. The apocalypse? It doesn’t exist. Lu Xun says it’s his playground.
