One-line hook: When all of Konoha was on its knees, the boy who had been called the “Demon Fox” for sixteen years stood tall and shattered the sky.
The sky screen descended, a Mangekyo Sharingan gazing down over Konoha.
The Third Hokage slammed to his knees, his pipe snapping in two. Kakashi clutched his eye and screamed, blood spurting between his fingers. Danzo curled up thirty meters underground, his teeth chattering, while Shisui’s eye bled furiously in its socket. Inside Naruto, the Nine-Tails curled into a ball, covering its head with all four paws and not daring to make a sound.
Every powerful shinobi in the village fell to their knees, their hearts shattered with terror.
Only one blond boy strode toward the spot directly beneath the sky screen, barefoot, crushing roof tiles underfoot, a blade of foxtail grass between his teeth. He endured the world-ending pressure, tilted his head back, and grinned:
“Who are you glaring at, old man? Got a grain of rice on my face?”
The sky screen exploded. The phantom Mangekyo took solid form and came crashing down on him.
He stamped the ground to pieces and threw a punch
“You’re the one who should be kneeling.”
