Zhao Xingchen is a nobody at the very end of the bench at a prestigious basketball school. With his sweet, harmless puppy-dog looks, his teammates jokingly call him the “team pet.” No one knows that every night, after quietly collecting the balls following practice, this boy undergoes military-style training in a System space under a powerful eunuch from a parallel universe.
When a jealous teammate deliberately fouls him during a crucial game, trying to wreck his arm, Zhao Xingchen opens his eyes, his gaze calm and ruthless beyond his years. One seemingly hopeless predicament after another, he overcomes with tactics and political maneuvering far ahead of their time.
From school leagues to the professional courts, from an outcast on the margins to the tactical mastermind in control of the game, he will build a dynasty of his own with basketball’s purest rule: win or lose.
But when he reaches the summit, he discovers that the mastermind behind this game is none other than the “Nine-Thousand-Year-Old” who trained him.
