A Witch’s Growth Journal

[A heroine who grows stronger + a touch of ensemble storytelling + monster-slaying and leveling up + light mystery]

Born with spiritual power, Yuki Rengongu was forced to live apart from her parents from the moment she was born. She grew up beside her grandmother, a shrine maiden, at a remote countryside shrine.

When Yuki turned fifteen, her grandmother suddenly passed away. Forced to return to her parents, she took the name Yuki Ibara and began adjusting to the bustling, unfamiliar city of Tokyo.

But she struggled to adapt to city life. Only when she wore the shrine maiden robes her grandmother had made for her by hand could she find a moment's peace.

Exhausted and wondering whether she should return to the countryside and spend the rest of her life there, she discovered that beneath Tokyo's glittering surface, countless demons and spirits were lying in wait, preying on people's vitality.

As a shrine maiden, she couldn't simply stand by and let people die.

So she stayed, exorcising demons and spirits, and forging bonds with the people she met.
