In 1947, Cash returned to the old city with the money he had saved for many years, hoping to buy the orphanage that would be demolished in three days. She thought she came back just to do a business, until the undated tavern under the forest opened the door for her.
There were seven people from different generations sitting in the tavern. They are of different ages and are strangers to each other, but the house numbers, photos and old letters they brought are vaguely connected. What's even weirder is that Kash meets Irina, a woman who has the same childhood and scars as her, but is heading for a different life.
Some people want to recover their abandoned children, some want to catch up with their missed lovers, and some want to know which life is the right answer, staying or leaving.
But Sunset Tavern never changes people's lives. It only allows people who are supposed to meet to sit at the same table and finish those words that have been delayed for many years before the door opens again.
