When Lin Zhou was on the brink of death during his first mission in the Reincarnation Paradise, he accidentally triggered the forbidden art known as “Necromantic Puppetry.” But the essence of this power disgusted him: binding bones with vengeful spirits and driving them to war through pain.
So he made a mad decision.
He would give the undead hearts and give metal souls.
Starting with the “Magnetic Bone Guardians” of the Black Iron Wasteland, Lin Zhou used metal for bones, magnetism for veins, and energy cores for hearts, transforming one undead army after another into a frigid tide of steel. Skeleton soldiers became magnetic constructs, bone behemoths evolved into orbital bombardment platforms, and at last, he alone commanded the will of the entire army.
The mission worlds of the Reincarnation Paradise were never merciful. In a medieval land of swords and magic, he made the knights' armor betray them. In the steel graveyard of an interstellar war, he awakened slumbering mechanical wreckage. Among the giant ruins of a mythic age, he built a mobile fortress from dragon bones and mithril, capable of crossing between planes.
Some called him a “Mechanist”; others, in fear, called him a “Calamity.” But Lin Zhou knew exactly what he was
He had seen despair in the ranks of the undead, so he would create an army that could burn without needing pain.
