Myriad Worlds: Old Man, Please Spare Me

[Slow burn + multiple worlds + light System elements + growing protagonist]

On an ordinary Tuesday morning, Lu Chengfeng was stopped in his tracks by a crazy old man sitting in a rose garden.

The old man snatched him away and tossed him into a world among the myriad heavens that was on the verge of collapse.

In the martial arts world, he has to escort a caravan and put down bandits. In the supernatural world, he has to survive a midnight manhunt. In the world of rules-based horror, he has to solve riddles to stay alive. Every world is fraught with danger, and each successful run brings him one step closer to home. But as he ventures into more and more worlds, a deliberately concealed truth begins to emerge. The old man who forced him into all this may not be an ordinary guide.

And when Lu Chengfeng finally stands before the truth, he at last says what he has wanted to say since the very first day:

“Old man, please let me go. I have to get back for my college entrance exams!”
