Moved an Island a Hundred Meters from the Start, Exposed Nationwide by Reporters

Gu Yuan wakes up to find that he has become a Black Tortoise.

Not a palm-sized turtle in an aquarium, but the mythical beast of the north: a tortoise whose body sprawls across an ocean trench, whose snake tail coils around the continental shelf, and whose back carries an uninhabited island.

When he yawns, fog rolls in over the open sea. When he shifts slightly, the coastal tides reverse. Even the smallest groove on his shell is big enough to hold a research vessel.

At the same time, he binds to a Mythical Form System.

[Maintain the Black Tortoise form for seven consecutive days to permanently inherit its divine power.]

[Return to human form before completing the task, and your current progress will be reset. The System will then enter a thirty-day cooldown.]

[Complete the task to unlock your next mythical form.]

Gu Yuan just wants to close his eyes and lie still for seven days.

But after an undersea tremor, the "Mistveil Island" on his back shifts forty-seven meters on the nautical chart.

To investigate the island that seems to move, Shen Tinglan, a reporter for Deep Blue Live, boards the island with a research vessel and starts a livestream.

When the searchlight shines into a sea cave, millions of viewers see it with their own eyes:

The thing they had mistaken for a black rock wall is slowly breathing.
