The Legitimate Daughter Conceals Her Edge: Scheming Her Way Through the Marquis’s Inner Residence

A modern overworked web-novel editor, she has read every sort of period romance and family-intrigue plot. She is meticulous, patient, clear-headed, and never lets a grudge go unpaid. After transmigrating into a book, she becomes the despised, vicious legitimate elder sister who exists only as cannon fodder. The original owner was jealous of her gentle, kind-hearted half-sister, acted arrogant and domineering, and constantly brought disaster upon herself. In the end, she was cast out by her family and drowned in a pig cage, serving as the greatest stepping stone for the original novel's hero and heroine. After Su Ling transmigrates into the book, she abandons the original owner's foolish, malicious ways and pretends to be docile. She settles old scores in the inner household, escapes her fate as cannon fodder, takes control of the Marquis's estate, enters the political arena, and wins people's loyalty. Clear-headed and always looking out for herself, she is no self-sacrificing saint.
