Global Death Exam: Sorry, I’m Only Living for Myself

The first instance is a little rough around the edges, but the later ones get much better!!!

Genre: Global mandatory death exams + survival across endless instances

Protagonist traits: Cold and self-serving, rejects saintly do-gooding, prioritizes self-preservation, never plays the good Samaritan

All 7.8 billion people on Earth received the same message at once: “The Death Exam has begun. Pass and live; fail and die.”

Shen Yuan was taken straight from prison to the examination hall.

He isn’t kindhearted or hot-blooded, and he won’t save the world. He believes in just one rule: my life comes before everything else.

In the City of Mirrors, he made strangers walk to their deaths in his place. In the Abyss of the Hive, he used two hundred people as pawns to scout the way.

Everyone called him a demon.

“Everyone is a piece on the board, including me.”
