Captain of a Fallen Organization: I Draw Cards to Restore Its Glory

[A rough draft by a beginner author] [Lots of inspiration borrowed] [Lighthearted and funny]

He just wanted to use the restroom.

After his airport flight was delayed for five hours, Chen Du followed a passerby dressed like a pirate into the restroom.

And then... one step landed him in another world, where he became the captain of the Homebound.

The good news: his crew were fiercely loyal.

The bad news: there were only two and a half of them.

A captain with amnesia, a cultivation-world helmsman whose powers had plummeted to rock bottom, a Kamen Rider so afraid of ghosts he would faint on the spot, and a little glowing orb that could find things on its own.

The anchor point is a card draw? Sounds like fun... until he draws the Singer Civilization card, whose effect is to turn people into “kings of song,” and until every prank card has that same punchable grin on the back.

The fog in this world can imitate your sobs. Monsters will stab you in the back after reminiscing about the good old days. Six sources of corruption count your breaths in the mist. And the key to getting home is hidden across countless seas, so after all that, he still has to put it together himself?

Chen Du lives by just three rules: First, never trust the estimated departure time. Second, never trust directions from anyone in a bizarre outfit. Third, before drawing a card, ask yourself... is this damn thing another prank card?

Captain, don't look back. The sea has already remembered you.
