The Yangtze River rushes down from the upper reaches to the Tangjiatuo River where the water swirls around. Floating corpses are easily stranded here. It has been a gathering point for corpses in Chongqing waters for hundreds of years and is also the main working area for the older generation of civilians to recover corpses.
