The One I Adore Just Doesn't Get It

What should you do when you fall for a straight man?

Overindulgent husband top × pessimistic, avoidant bottom

Huo Rui × Li Zixin

Huo Rui had always been able to get whatever he wanted in his circle. He’d never failed before.

Whether it was the tricks of the wealthy, lavish gifts, or elaborate schemes, he could easily get anyone he wanted into his grasp. But he fell flat when it came to Li Zixin.

Li Zixin was independent and clear-headed, with his own life and social circle. He always kept Huo Rui at arm’s length, cool and distant.

Huo Rui endured an entire month just to see Li Zixin once.

He worked himself to the bone all day, afraid he might miss Li Zixin’s flight.

The love of his life had built a wall too high to climb, but Huo Rui was willing to cross a thousand miles and keep chipping away at it, bit by bit, until the end.
