A decaying Ming Dynasty, and a newborn empire on the North American continent!
A junior employee at a machinery factory in a certain Eastern country dies at his post from overwork while rushing to finish a drawing. He transmigrates to the late Ming, in the fourth year of the Chongzhen reign, as Zhu Yunlan, a hereditary guardian general of the Chu Prince line. As someone from the future, he knows his fate won't be good: Li Zicheng will surely kill him. Even if he makes something of himself in the Ming, the suspicious Chongzhen will certainly take him down, and the Manchus will ultimately reap the benefits as the Han people's realm falls!
So he sells off his family fortune, disguises himself as a peasant rebel, robs the rich and the great landlords, rescues Sun Yuanhua, heads south to Jiangnan, buys large ships, and flees to North America. He opens up new territory, builds cities and banks, and trades goods like glassware, soap, sugar, and sea salt for Ming refugees. Once he has built up his strength, he will return to defeat all reactionaries and restore the glory of the Han people!
Didn't Europe have already set foot in North America by the end of the Ming Dynasty?
Very well written and clear ideas
