Loxius, a vampire prince who has lived for a thousand years, was ambushed by the Holy Church and struck by a holy silver curse. He had only 24 hours left to live.
At the end of his rope, he was bound to a matchmaking System. Complete its tasks, and he could repair his essence and return to his peak.
Loxius breathed a sigh of relief. “Matchmaking? Easy.”
That is, until he saw the match the System had assigned him:
[Goblin women only]
“Impossible! Absolutely impossible!”
Three minutes later, a sky-high bounty appeared on the Dark Domain platform.
That night, Loxius dropped to his knees and passionately kissed a long-haired, blue-green hand:
“Beautiful and noble lady, please allow me to offer you my sincerest respects.”
The goblin matron across from him snatched her hand back in disgust and wiped it on her fur skirt.
“Your Excellency, the vampire, I'm in a hurry. This isn't going to work, so I'll be off.”
Loxius broke down on the spot. “Don't go! I think we're perfect for each other! I'm pale and you're green, like mint with matcha milk!”
But he soon discovered that matchmaking wasn't the System's true purpose.
Goblins, gnomes, shadow gnomes, a holy maiden of the Church... Behind every match lay a secret connected to a “god.”
Hand:
“Beautiful and noble lady, please allow me to offer you my sincerest respects.”
The goblin matron across from him snatched her hand back in disgust and wiped it on her fur skirt.
