A Century of Dusty Ruins

[Mystery and the Supernatural] + [Urban Superpowers] + [Folk Legends] + [Eastern Mythology] + [Ghost Hunting] + [Comedy]

A century-long pact expires, and all spirits return to the Ruins.

The hundred-year pact has run its course. The things that withdrew into the Ruin Realm nearly a century ago are coming back, one by one.

The sound of stir-frying comes right on schedule from an empty apartment in the middle of the night. A limping footstep goes up and down the stairwell, yet never reaches the ninth floor. A stone coffin is unearthed beneath a construction site in the old district. Behind every supernatural case lies a story an ordinary person never found the words to tell.

The Seventh Operations Division is the lowest-ranked department in the bureau, tasked with taking in people who don’t fit anywhere else. They solve cases, and help each other recover the things they have all lost for a long time.

But they don’t know that the coordinates of every case form an arc. Its center lies deep underground. The thing sealed away for nearly a century is about to awaken.

And the person standing at the deepest point of the seal may have been among them all along.
