The Sixth Row

At the start of their first year of high school, Wang Minglang and Ding Xinyun are assigned to the window-side seats in the sixth row. They were classmates in elementary school, sworn enemies who once shared a blanket to secretly eat spicy strips, but they hadn't seen each other in six years, ever since they went to separate schools in fifth grade. On the first day they meet again, Ding Xinyun turns her head, her ear pointed toward the window. “I can hear the teacher in the classroom next door making a phone call.” No one can say exactly how things got started after that. Anyway, more and more secrets are being hidden beneath the desks in the sixth row.
