The Curse of Worldly Fate: A Bunch of Lunatics Live Inside Me

[Original work by the author. I’m no good at writing blurbs, so please read the story instead.]

[A note from the author: I’ve rewritten the blurb more than a dozen times. Whenever I feel sad, I change it; whenever I’m happy, I change it; whenever I get fired up, I change it. I can’t take it anymore. You’d better not read the blurb.]

[Note]

[This is a pure action story, with no battles of wits. It’s not a sweet romance. I write according to my mood, you could say I do whatever I feel like. When I’m unhappy, I write sad scenes; when I’m happy, I write cheerful ones. The emotional swings can be big or small. All right, I have nothing else to say.]

Tang Shen was an orphan whose parents had both died.

He was a young man with plenty of ambition.

All he wanted was to reach the top, one step at a time.

He traveled far and wide.

He weathered the war among the five clans and survived countless brushes with death.

Death was his fate.

He could not overcome the loss of family and friends, the ravages of time, or the way people’s hearts changed.

He always thought that if he had enough strength, he could control everything.

He was wrong.

Life is like a fleeting dream. No matter how dazzling it is, after death it all comes to nothing. The only thing that can remain unchanged is a sincere heart.

Even he failed to hold on to that. He was defeated by his own pride, by himself, and by the past he could never let go.

He was not defeated by fate.

He broke free from a life controlled by others, yet still could not obtain everything he wanted.

He would forever let one person down...

Someone who had been part of his life from beginning to end.

The World’s Fate Curse, a curse of destiny cast by the world itself...
