Synopsis

As Moro was swallowed by Leiya, his consciousness slowly faded, and memories of the first half of his life began to surface. Familiar faces passed before his eyes one by one, until his gaze settled on a figure seen from behind, dressed in white. Moro recognized him at once.

“Teacher, is this really how my story ends?”

“If I had the chance, I’d love to learn from you again.”

“Goodbye, Teacher.”

At the very last moment before his consciousness vanished, a soft light swept Moro up and carried him away. He felt soft grass beneath him and faintly heard a dragon’s roar.

When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back in the past. He had yet to enter the Cave of Despair or make any of those mistakes.

He resolved to turn toward the place he knew so well.

This time, with his memories intact, Moro chose to become his master’s disciple, the ninjas’ senior fellow student, a guardian of Ninjago City, and a true Master of Wind.

(An ensemble story, with the ninjas still as the main characters. Moro simply returns to the dojo. Since the timeline and setting of the original Ninjago series differ a little, I’ve combined some elements to make the story work. I hope readers will bear with me. Just think of it as another parallel world.)
