A Godless World: I Borrow the Last Wishes of the People to Cut Through Heaven's Gate

Twenty years ago, the Twelve Heavenly Gates suddenly appeared around the world.

Behind them stood twelve gods. They bestowed divine blood, supernatural powers, and protection upon humanity, while demanding that people build temples and offer their faith.

Most nations chose to serve the gods.

Only Huaguo refused to accept the rule of any deity, establishing a special agency called the Shanhe Bureau to guard the Heavenly Gates and handle divine disasters.

The Bureau's fighters are known as Torchbearers.

Their oath is:

As long as the mountains and rivers endure, the flame shall never die.

Huaguo worships no gods. We honor only those who protect our mountains and rivers.
