Fleeing Famine, the Three-Year-Old Girl Turns the Tide by Hearing Animals Speak

[Alternate history + exile + natural disasters + adorable children + animal speech + face-slapping and taking down scumbags + comeback]

The whole family is exiled, only to encounter a devastating drought. Their awful relatives steal all their food and even plan to sell three-and-a-half-year-old Meng Yuntao for money.

Everyone expects the family to starve to death on the road as they flee the famine.

But who could have guessed that Taotao can understand the animals?

Taotao chats with a squirrel, and it brings them a whole tree hollow full of wild fruit.

Taotao strokes a sparrow, and the bird immediately leads them to a mountain spring deep in the forest.

While others fight until they're bruised and bloodied over a mouthful of water, Taotao's family has meat at every meal. When they get thirsty, a troop of monkeys even brings them fresh fruit juice.

Their wicked enemies are consumed with jealousy and bring the guards to seize their food.

Taotao points at the billowing yellow sand behind her and cries in her babyish voice, “Dahuang, someone’s stealing my fruit!”

The next moment, all the beasts roar and charge out of the wasteland...
