[Western Fantasy + Elves + French + Magic + All Male Leads Are Chaste]
Zhong Ling missed passing the DELF exam by just one point. While studying for her retake, she suddenly died and transmigrated to a magical world, waking up surrounded by a group of bewitchingly beautiful elves.
Then a System appeared out of nowhere and told her this was a world where knowing French let you cast magic.
Great. She'd finally studied herself crazy!
It didn't take long for her to discover that every spell in this world was in French, and all the key points for learning magic came straight from the DELF syllabus. In other words, they were exactly what she'd been studying for her exam.
Something was seriously off about this world...

Later, the people, elves, and beastfolk around her, in short, everyone who needed to learn magic, kept asking how she could use advanced magic so effortlessly. Zhong Ling simply pushed up her nonexistent glasses.
“Because I absolutely have to get my French B2 certificate!”
Of course, her road to becoming powerful wasn't entirely smooth.
After all, while everyone else practiced magic using their natural talent, she relied on the knowledge she'd built up after three years of being ground down by French. On top of that, she had a System on hand to look up any French grammar point at any time.
Some Dwarf King: “How could a nobody like you possibly spot the flaw in my advanced spell?!”
Zhong Ling: “You used the wrong tense and voice in your subordinate clause.”
Some Wizard: “Damn it! How could you know for sure your low-level spell would hit me?!”
Zhong Ling: “Because a standalone subjunctive expresses a wish, so even a low-level spell can stack on 200% attack power.”

Sure, she was powerful, but why, when all she wanted was to study, were so many gorgeous people running up to her shouting, “Je t’aime”?!
