The World Erased Me, But Not Completely

On his eighteenth birthday, Cheng Yan receives a funeral invitation.

The deceased is him, the next of kin is his mother, and he is also one of the guests.

At first, he thinks it's a prank, until he actually reaches the funeral home and sees his portrait hanging in the center of the mourning hall. His relatives and friends are seated below, weeping, while a coffin holds someone who looks exactly like him.

Cheng Yan walks over to his mother.

She stares at him for a long time, then asks just one question:

"Who are you?"

From that night onward, the traces Cheng Yan has left behind begin to disappear, little by little.

His ID card has no name, no one can find him in photographs, and every contact in his phone has turned into an unfamiliar number. Even the room he has lived in for eighteen years is starting to look as if no one has ever lived there.

Everyone has accepted one conclusion.

Cheng Yan is dead.

Only Xu Mo still remembers him.

She tells Cheng Yan that before 5:17 a.m., he must prove that the person outside the coffin is the real one.

Otherwise, the corpse will take his name, identity, and past.

And this world will erase him completely.

But the world seems to have overlooked one thing.

Cheng Yan isn't ready to accept his fate.
