Ever since He Du got hit by a heavy truck while walking down a city street, yet somehow survived, he’s been able to see words from another world.
From the conversations in those words, he guessed that his world was just a novel. And he wasn’t the protagonist, a supporting lead, a villain, or even a cannon-fodder character. He was just an unnamed passerby in the original story.
How could that be?
He was the perfect man, handsome, dashing, charming, and as elegant as a tree in the wind. How could he be a mere passerby?
So He Du set out to attract the attention of people in that other world with a series of outrageous stunts.
His stunts went a little too far. He got the attention he wanted, but he also ended up in prison.
Luckily, the novel’s main plot also took place in that prison. He Du got his wish and entered the main storyline, gradually becoming the protagonist he wanted to be.
