Reborn as a Taoist in Republican China: I Can Foresee the Future

Chen Fan, a top student at a Daoist academy, transmigrates to Shanghai in 1918. In this turbulent era, he becomes Daoist Guanlan of a dilapidated temple.

As the whole country erupts in celebration over victory in the First World War, he uses a transmigrator’s foresight to write a shocking prophecy: “We celebrate victory for nothing. Shandong will be handed to the Japanese.” Condemned by the entire nation as a traitor, he becomes a “living immortal” once his prediction comes true. He uses Daoist magic to punish thugs and medical skills to save the people.

Facing the schemes of Japanese spies and the dark arts of Japanese onmyoji, he uses the full force of his power to defend his country’s dignity. His Daoist robe is his armor; memories of a hundred years are his blade. In this struggle to save the nation from ruin, he will fight to secure a glimmer of hope for this long-suffering people!
