The Guanshan Taibao lineage began in Hongwu.
Taibao were not sorcerers, but geographical officers under the Qin Tianjian, who were responsible for controlling the situation of mountains and rivers in the world and assisting the royal family in building tombs.
The technique has its source - "The Burial Book" is the sutra, "Shaking the Dragon Sutra" is the latitude, observing sand, looking for water, distinguishing soil, tasting mud, and using the four methods to cut off the good and bad of the earth's veins.
After the imperial mausoleum was completed, the Taibao sealed the mountain and left. The secret techniques involved were not spread to the outside world.
