The Romance-Brained Gangsters of Republican-Era China

[Republican era, both leads are sexually pure, one-on-one romance, ensemble cast!] Yu Nian'an never expected the illegitimate son he'd once kicked out to come back for revenge. And he returned with the air of someone who held all the power. The once-obedient puppy had grown fangs. He now had power and status, and even threatened Yu Nian'an outright, intent on forcing him into a relationship. Yu Nian'an's response? A dog will always be a dog. At the snap of Yu Nian'an's fingers, Fan Xingzhi's body reacted before his mind could. Looking down at the man kneeling on the ground, Yu Nian'an remained every bit the superior. “Fan Xingzhi, a dog will always be a dog. If you want to rise above your station, try again in your next life.” Back then, Fan Xingzhi had been forced to leave in disgrace, cruelly abandoned by the person he loved. He'd been consumed by hatred. But when he returned, ready to take his revenge, all those years of resentment vanished the moment he saw Yu Nian'an. He wanted power and status? Then Fan Xingzhi would lay it all at his feet, as long as Yu Nian'an never abandoned him again. “Yu Nian'an, once a dog has chosen its master, it only has one for life. Don't even think about shaking me off. I'm sticking with you for good.”
