The Entertainment Industry's Top Gu Master

I know an actress who shows me her scripts before taking a role, and also asks me to check how well her “pets” are being cared for.

I also know a famous director who always carries four things with him: Marlboro cigarettes, actresses, Shima’s poetry, and something inside his body…

From the palace performers of old to the modern entertainment industry, show business has always been inextricably tied to superstition. The only difference is the medium.

Northeast China has shamanic mediums, western Hunan has corpse drivers, and southern Fujian and Guangdong have spirit mediums. And in our village, deep in the Hundred Thousand Mountains, there is one mysterious profession, and only one: the Gu master.

You can doubt that the other professions exist, but don’t doubt the last one.

Because I’m a Gu master from the depths of the mountains. I’m not a bad person, but I do take dirty money.
