After a Night of Drinking, I Took My CEO Ex-Boyfriend Home

Renowned perfumer Shen Nian'an wakes from a drunken night to the mortifying discovery that she mistook the new CEO, Huo Yanchen, for a male escort and slept with him. He's also her obsessive ex-boyfriend, who vanished without a trace five years ago. Huo Yanchen relentlessly pursues her, using his “ruined reputation” and severe insomnia as excuses to pressure Shen Nian'an into registering their marriage. By day, he's the cold, ruthless head of a wealthy conglomerate. By night, he turns into a clingy, jealous “big dog,” determined to collect the emotional debt she owes him. Then Shen Nian'an's five-year-old genius son, Shen Xiaobao, whom she has kept hidden all these years, charges into the CEO's office with a toy gun to protect his mom. Huo Yanchen completely loses his composure and shamelessly clings to Shen Nian'an's leg, begging her to make their relationship official.

The novel's biggest draw is the hilarious, heart-fluttering contrast between the arrogant, obsessive CEO who transforms into a clingy, devoted puppy after marriage, the genius kid who plays matchmaker, and a sweet, satisfying story of settling old scores in a wealthy family.
