The Gods Are Fighting, and Mortals Pay the Price? My Turn Now

[Strong Female Lead]+ [Mutual Devotion, Happy Ending]+ [Ensemble Cast of Young Heroes]

Su Jin is the sharpest blade in the mortal realm.

The crown prince told her that if she killed the emperor, he would wipe out the great clans and bring peace and justice to the realm once he took the throne. She believed him. One sword thrust through the emperor's throat, and in return, the crown prince struck her with his own sword.

She died with hatred in her heart.

When she opened her eyes again, she was a wandering soul, drifting into a place called the Xuan Yuan Immortal Realm.

The world says that immortals are compassionate and save all living beings.

She believed them.

But the more she experienced, the more strange everything in the immortal realm seemed.

The immortal lords spoke endlessly of the greater good, yet showed no mercy in their struggles over spiritual veins. Cultivation arts and spiritual materials all had their owners, leaving almost nothing for the lowly cultivators at the bottom.

Even more alarming, all of this was secretly connected to the mortal realm: every time someone ascended, another calamity befell the world below.

She investigates the cause of her death in her previous life. The deeper she digs, the more it feels as though every step leads her along the very path she once walked.

Bearing bones forged in the mortal realm, she returns to the highest heavens.

It's time those sanctimonious immortals paid for what they did.

This time, gods are not born. They are raised up by the incense offered by mortals, one stick at a time.
