A riot breaks out at an isolated island prison. Former detective Shen Zheng uses a concealed wire to pick the lock on his cell and escape amid the chaos, only to discover that the riot is the final trap in the “Ghost Ship Corpse-Burning Case” from fifteen years ago. Working with doctor Chen Yu, and with prison guard Zhao Tie, inmate Gu Yuan, and accountant Zhou Lan helping from the shadows, he gradually unravels the conspiracy woven by the prison’s leadership and outside forces. When the wire finally picks open warden Shi Lei’s safe, all the dead cry out for the last time from beneath the reinforced concrete.
