A violent explosion erupts on a supercar racing circuit. A ten-million-yuan race car is engulfed in flames, and not one member of the professional foreign rescue team dares to go in.

Lu Zheng, a veteran working part-time as a track inspector, uses nothing but a fire extinguisher to force his way in and drag the badly injured female director out of the cockpit.

At the post-incident review, management not only refuses to reward him, but berates him for delaying the rescue and writing off the car.

Lu Zheng pulls out a chair and sneers. "I signed on as a contractor. I get eighty yuan a day, with no social insurance or accident coverage. I'm here to clean the track, not to be a suicide squad. I rescued her out of a veteran's instinct. You want to dock my performance pay and make me risk my life for you?"

He throws down his employee badge on the spot, refusing all empty promises and emotional blackmail!
