Unbelievable! Su Qutao, a miserable office worker who wrote novels for extra cash, had her work plagiarized!
To make matters worse, she transmigrated into the heavily altered plagiarized version of her own novel, becoming the hated “dark moonlight” character.
The System assigned her a mission: restore the original story, then take the money and leave.
Su Qutao was confident. She was the novel's actual author, after all. She happily imagined completing the task and retiring in triumph!
The male lead, Sheng Yan, who should have been an untouchable beauty, had been rewritten into a villainous second male lead kicked out of his home.
He treated Su Qutao with care after her sudden change of heart, a complete reversal of her former behavior, but in truth his feelings toward her were complicated.
To make him believe in her, Su Qutao tried hard to seem normal and devoted herself to being a virtuous wife. All she wanted was to help Sheng Yan, whom “she” had ruined, reclaim his rightful place as the male lead.
But on the very first night after she arrived, she wanted to wear Sheng Yan out in bed.
The System, Iron Hammer, praised her: “You're amazing! You turned a hopeless situation around!”
Su Qutao grew even more confident, believing she could undo all the changes made to the plagiarized novel and restore the plot of her original work.
However, as Sheng Yan spent every day with her, his feelings for her grew stronger, and he even lost interest in the original female lead.
Su Qutao: “Something's not adding up! I think I've gone off course?”
Iron Hammer: “Don't panic. The established ending won't change.”
Fine. Because she was the novel's actual author, Su Qutao believed the System's nonsense!
When the original female lead really did start interacting with Sheng Yan according to the original plot, the plagiarist was mercilessly torn apart by Su Qutao, and the plagiarized world collapsed.
Su Qutao finally completed her mission and returned to the real world to live as a rich woman! But then she discovered that the System had come back with her.
She panicked, because Sheng Yan had also appeared in her real life.
“Su Qutao, you got me halfway hooked and now you want to run?”
