Master a Technique Every Day, Then Raid Homes with Demonic Arts in Hand

[Historical what-if + System + invincible + confiscating estates + farming]

Pei Yuan transmigrates into the most feared Imperial Commissioner of the Great Yuan Dynasty. Ordered to audit the accounts, he finds the very first military grain document has charged him with two cartloads of grain!

He doesn't rush to protest.

A line of text has appeared before his eyes: [Today's settlement quota: 1/1. Would you like to perfect the "Brahma Saint True Demon Art"?]

Once he confirms, the incomplete demonic art is fully restored. His sinews and bones become like iron, and his qi and blood blaze like a furnace.

The county granary claims the carts are broken and can't be weighed? Pei Yuan lifts a cart with one hand and places cart and grain together on the official scales.

The clerk claims the grain was swallowed by the Imperial Guards? Pei Yuan flashes his gold token and seals the granary by law. The county must cough up every last missing grain!

But he soon discovers that the books are rotten throughout the Great Yuan.

The great clans have swallowed the grain, sects have seized the iron mines, wealthy merchants have divided up the salt fields, border troops have sold off the warhorses, and refugees are starving to death by the roadside.

Since the imperial court has given him authority to execute first and report later, he won't hold back.

Every day, he perfects martial arts, farming, metallurgy, medicine, and military strategy. With each maxed-out skill, he takes over another local power!

Who says an Imperial Commissioner can only investigate cases?

Wherever Pei Yuan investigates, the mines, fields, workshops, and private troops there will all have to take the Pei name!
