The 707th Artifact: Expose It!

On a stormy night, web novelist Chen Man is targeted by monsters from the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

He picks up a roof tile end and becomes Inscription Bearer No. 707.

How can he gain more exposure? By writing novels: the more readers he attracts, the stronger his relics become.

So the shameless author slips in his own agenda, forcing readers to learn about relics' diameters, specifications, historical value, rim thickness, and more...

The comments go from “The author's possessed” to “Why is he padding the word count again?”

Then they become, “I can't take it anymore, now I'm really curious. What does this relic actually look like?”

Until one reader named “Xi” leaves comments for more than a hundred days in a row:

“Author, is the stuff you're writing... actually real?”
