LeBron Defects? From the Start, I Pick Curry and Rebuild the Cavaliers

In the summer of 2010, on the night James betrayed Cleveland, Chen Xiao, reborn, had just completed his acquisition of the Cavaliers.

Everyone was mourning the city, but Chen Xiao did just one thing: he picked up the phone and called the Golden State Warriors. “I want Curry.” The national media called him crazy for trading half a team for a player with fragile ankles.

James mocked him in Miami, saying he knew nothing about basketball. Nike Capital launched a media campaign against him. But no one knew that Chen Xiao had the next ten years of NBA history in his head.

When Curry’s three-pointers began rewriting the rules of basketball, and every one of Chen Xiao’s “crazy” predictions came true, the world finally understood: abandoned Cleveland never needed a savior. The true architect of a dynasty had been sitting in the owner’s box from day one.
