Ye Dong wakes up to find himself inside New Mr. Vampire, in the town of Teng Teng, as a little zombie lying in a coffin in an old building from the late Qing Dynasty. He has no System, no golden finger, only a body of stiff bones and a mouthful of fangs. Worse, he has to survive under the oppression of an old zombie while waiting to pay his respects to the moon. With the Zombie King away hunting Taoist priests and the dangers from the story closing in, Ye Dong relies on his familiarity with the movie from his previous life to struggle for survival amid the moonlight's nourishment and the gaps between the zombie hordes. From a lowly walking corpse cursed as a “dog slave” to a survivor who glimpses the path to evolving along the way of the corpse, he must carve out a way to live in Lin Zhengying's supernatural world, one breath at a time. This is a little zombie's record of survival, and an uplifting story of perseverance and awakening in an age surrounded by every kind of evil.
