Synopsis

[No pairing for Kaigaku in this story. The protagonist is a demon. Contains a Muzan and Kokushibo pairing, so avoid if that's not your thing.]

[The Demon Slayer Corps are portrayed unfavorably. Since I can't write about the Heian era, the original protagonists may only appear in extras.]

After the battle in the Infinity Castle, Kaigaku is beheaded. Filled with hatred, he arrives in the Warring States period as a seven-year-old boy and meets Tsugikuni Michikatsu, who takes him home and raises him.

As he lives a life of luxury, Kaigaku almost forgets his hatred. Then one day, someone who looks just like Lord Kokushibo arrives.

What do you mean this bear of a man is Lord's little brother?

What do you mean Lord is leaving home and joining the Demon Slayer Corps with that bear?

What do you mean awakening the mark means you won't live past twenty-five?

Lord Kokushibo, take me with you! Whether we flee or become traitors, family belongs together!

Muzan: So this is the child Kokushibo brought back? Fine, I suppose I'll make him an Upper Rank.
